Some of our team were good sports and took part in a Movember initiative this year to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and the amazing work they do.
Huge thanks to everyone that took part (particularly to the wives and girlfriends who had to put up with the beards) and to everyone who helped us raise £3900. Szerelmey has matched the funds raised, making it a whooping total of £7800!

Our guys including the ladies took part in this moustache competition to fundraise for this fantastic cause. We had a friendly in-house competition for the creative moustache shave at the end of the campaign.
After much deliberation by Judge McColm, the long-awaited results are; overall FIRST PLACE, goes to John MacEachin for an outstanding and quite frightening effort – lock up those children. With a special prize going to Mrs MacEachin for putting up with it, and the beard. But we believe everyone is a winner in this game, so please see below a full run down of the special awards for all the special people.
At Szerelmey we try to support our local community and charities as much as we can. We have always supported various charities like Macmillan, Royal Trinity Hospice, Breast Cancer Now, Crisis at Christmas, Chickenshed etc. with fundraising campaigns to raise awareness and money. For all our work & support, we have also won the Business Charity Awards 2022 in partnership with the Royal Trinity Hospice.
We have also raised £410 through our Christmas Raffle this year which we are donating to Crisis at Christmas Charity who offer warmth, healthcare, food and company to people experiencing homelessness across the UK.
All the work we do is not possible without your invaluable support, so we thank everyone at Szerelmey and our clients, contractors and suppliers who have been very supportive and generous with all our social value initiatives.
Together we truly make a difference!
