Back in November our Restoration team carried out some works at the Grade II listed church of St Johns Waterloo, which mostly involved waterproofing and restoring external paving. These are some of the first works in the church’s Reignite 2021 Restoration Project which will see the entire building renovated. To mark the launch of the project the church held an evening ceremony to bury a Time Capsule beneath one of the flagstones we restored. Szerelmey were on hand to lift the stone and re-bed it and included a short history of the company (dating back to 1855!) in the capsule. We also provided the wine for what turned out to be an excellent evening with a great turnout of people. The project is being led by Eric Parry Architects who Szerelmey have a long history of working with.
