Szerelmey hosted its first “Women in Construction” event this week at Champagne + Fromage in Covent Garden, which was great fun. We had a lively group of ladies and it is fair to say the champagne went down very well (and quickly)!! Although the issues surrounding Women in Construction are serious and finally very present in the news our event was all about relationship building amongst women in the industry and having fun. We plan to host a number of these events and will be building on the network of strong women that we already know and work with. On the same topic, we are currently penning our annual magazine finesse, and will have an article on WIC with a number of interviews from our staff.
