This large-scale private residential project involved the design, supply and installation of luxury bathrooms, and flooring to the entrance foyers, receptions and lift lobbies for three buildings. This amounted to 247 bathrooms, 59 entrance foyers, the three buildings’ reception area floors/walls (Including installation of large primary steelwork columns/backing structure to the main Building 2 reception) and 1,785 sqm of stone flooring/walls to the 36 lift lobbies. There was also 2,000m2 of ceramic areas installed within the common areas of the project.

Key to this project was the use of a wide variety of different stones in line with the very high-end specification. In the lift lobbies/receptions, Szerelmey laid Pietra Grey and Paloma limestone from Spain, as well as ornate moulded lift architraves containing LED lighting. In the bathrooms, we installed the flooring (with electric underfloor heating) and wall cladding using Arabescato, Sivec, Nero Marquina and Bardiglio and finally installed all the glass shower screens.

All the stonework was 20mm thick, fixed back to an internal metal framing system, plasterboard and Schluter board. In addition, within the penthouses, we designed and installed a post tension stair built of solid stone, which is a complicated design and has the appearance of “floating”. We also installed numerous different types of stone to all the bathrooms and common areas in the penthouses as well as stonework to the family kitchens, dining rooms and the fireplaces.
