Szerelmey have worked on a great number of London’s underground stations including Edgware Road which was opened as part of the world’s first underground line on the Metropolitan Railway in 1863. The package for Edgware Road Station involved the complete clean and restoration of the Edgware Road and Bell Street facades using DOFF and nebulous methods. In addition the Szerelmey restoration team carried out isolated brick repairs and replacements, patch pointing, isolated stone repairs and isolated repairs to the distinctive faience elements. The work has restored the station to its former magnificence.
