Mark has over 35 years of experience in the stone industry and began his career with a trade apprenticeship as a marble mason. He progressed into the drawing office learning the skills of stone draftsmen and detailing. Mark joined the Szerelmey group in 1986 and became Design Manager in 1994. He has an enormous range of project experience on all aspects of stone and faience, and its use in various forms of construction. Mark excels in providing design solutions for our Clients’ increasingly diverse requirements. Mark is a member of the Association of Architectural Technicians and sits on the Technical Committee of The Stone Federation GB where his opinion and experienced views are sought after. Mark is also a Mental Health First Aider.
