James Fraser one of our Contract Managers is part of a team of brave (or crazy) cyclists who will be taking on a 150 mile route through the Alps to raise money for Action for A-T. The route climbs 5000m ascending the Alpe d’Huez, one of the most famous sights of the Tour de France.
The team will be carrying out the challenge on 15th and 16th September and hope to raise as much money as they can for this amazing charity which funds research into finding a cure or treatments for the crippling effects of the disease Ataxia Telangiectasia. Action for A-T was founded by Toby and Emily, friends of James and the rest of the team, in 2011 following their daughter Evie’s diagnosis with the disease. Since 2012 Action for A-T has invested more than £1,700,000 in 27 A-T related research projects around the world, offering hope to families living with the condition.
