Recently we headed over to Portugal to take part in the Designing with Natural Stone Portugal 2018 (Assimagra) tour, where Szerelmey presented at LSI Stone. Our presentation was given alongside one by Darren Anderson of FMDC on different types of Portuguese limestone and one by Peter Harrison, President of Euroroc 2016-18 on standards. LSI were fantastic hosts for day 4 of the tour, providing a tour of their factory and introductory talk, lunch, a visit to local stone sculptor Luis Amado’s gallery, a tour of Porto de Mos castle and finally a fabulous sunset party with wine tasting and dancing. The tour was attended by a mixture of American and British architects.
