We are delighted to share that Szerelmey has achieved ‘Verification Level’ with the Ethical Stone Register, which is a level up from the Declaration Level we previously had. It has taken a lot of work, but the whole process has been hugely helpful in shaping and improving our continuing Sustainability strategy. To achieve Verification Level we underwent a rigorous external audit process to demonstrate our ethical trading throughout our operations and our supply chain. We were the first contractor to achieve Declaration Level and are again the first contractor to reach Verification Level. The Register enables stone companies, whatever their size, to offer a responsible and manageable ethical sourcing solution to their clients, and we would encourage companies to get involved.
